Nanopore adsorption
A significant enthalpy change occurs during the adsorption and desorption processes within nanoporous materials. By tailoring such nanopores' geometry and surface energy, we can tailor the dynamic sorption processes, which provides unique opportunities in thermal energy storage, renewable climate control, and water harvesting. We investigate the adsorption capacities of various nanoporous materials by varying the relative pressure, temperature to develop the desirable nanoporous materials at our target applications.
